Tree privacy and alert timing
Make your tree visible in search or private, and choose how often smart alerts reach you.
On the profile page there is a section with two settings:
- Tree privacy: "public" lets your tree appear in other people's search results, "private" shows it as a private tree so a stranger cannot see its details.
- Alert timing: a short alert arrives roughly every 3, 6 or 10 minutes while you browse. See smart alerts.
Choose the value and press save. The change takes effect at once.
