Points and badges
Personal progress with small points for caring and learning actions and badges for milestones, with no ranking of relatives.
Points and badges follow your personal progress. There is no ranking and no leaderboard: nobody is compared with relatives.
How do I earn points?
- Complete your profile (once), answer the question of the day, vote in a poll, reply to an event, finish a lesson (a whole course gives more) and add a photo.
- Each action counts at most once a day, so repeating it cannot farm points. The rules are shown on the Points page, the same for everyone.
Badges
Badges for milestones: First steps, Active member, Heart of the family, Keen learner, Course finisher, Family photographer, Your voice counts and Seven days in a row. You get a notice for each new badge, and you see the ones you have not earned yet with your progress.
Who sees your badges? Your family tree: the most advanced ones (up to three) appear next to your name on posts and in the members list, and hovering over one shows its name and rule. You can change this under Profile privacy, My badges (everyone, my tree, or close family only). Nobody else sees your points.
Corrections
The family creator and admins can correct a member's points (add or remove) with a reason if something went wrong. The member sees the reason, and every correction is recorded in Family activity.
This module is off by default; the creator or admins switch it on in Module management. It is a paid plan module, free for founding families (Plan and payment).
