What is free forever and what comes with a plan, how to pay by bank transfer with a receipt, and what happens when a plan ends.
The Plan and payment page is for the tree admin and its admins only. Only the tree's creator pays; relatives never do.
What is free forever?
Ten core sections are free for every family, forever: the dashboard, the family tree, the photo gallery, the family members, the phone directory, the smart alerts, the messages, the news, the calendar and the family posts. The specialty sections (tree printing, the Quran, the Wheel of Life, the personality test, shares, legacy messages and famous members) need a plan.
Founding Families
The first 500 families to register get every feature free for 24 months from the day they registered. The page shows "Founding Family" and the date the free period ends.
How do I pay?
- Open Plan and payment from the admin menu. You will see your family code such as TL-0044; write it in the transfer notes.
- Transfer the amount to the account shown on the page.
- Fill in the "Tell us about the transfer" form: the amount, the currency, the transfer reference, and upload a photo or PDF of the receipt (up to 5 MB).
- We wait for the transfer to arrive and confirm it, and your plan then runs 12 months. If we reject a payment you will see the reason on the page and can send it again.
Whenever the platform owner confirms or rejects your payment, or changes, locks or unlocks your plan, you get a bell notification with the reason, and the action also appears in the plan history on the page. Only the platform owner and your own family admins can see the receipt; it is never published anywhere. Paying before the current period ends costs you nothing: the new year starts after the period that is running now.
When a plan ends
- We remind you with a smart alert 30 days and then 7 days before the period ends, and we never nag families that have never had a plan.
- After it ends there are 30 days of grace where everything keeps working, so a slow transfer does not lock you out.
- After that only the extra sections stop. No data is ever deleted, the ten core sections keep working, and everything comes back the moment you renew.
