Changing my profile photo: crop and zoom
Pick a picture, move and zoom it inside the circle, and the app makes it square, light and sharp.
- Open My profile and press Select new photo.
- A crop window with a circle opens: drag the picture, zoom with the slider (or the mouse wheel) and rotate with the two arrows, until your face fits the circle.
- Press Use this photo, then Save.
What does the app do with your photo?
- It straightens it if the camera turned it, cuts it to a square, shrinks it to 512 px and adds a touch of sharpness back.
- It saves it as light WebP, so it uses little space, with quality enough for sharp screens.
- It really deletes your old photo when you change or remove it.
JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF pictures up to 10 MB are accepted (they are made lighter before uploading). Who sees your photo is set in Profile privacy.
