Events: guests, map, organizers, reminders and album
Run a full family event: how many come, where it is, who helps, and the photos afterwards.
Creating the event
In the family calendar press create an event. Add a map link (from Google Maps, for example) and everyone who opens the event gets an Open in maps button. Choose up to 5 co-organizers.
Attending and guests
When you answer Sure you can say how many people come with you. The event shows the total headcount and who is coming. Guests of people who answer "Maybe" are not counted.
Co-organizers
A co-organizer can edit the event and follow who is coming; only the creator and the family admins can delete it or change the organizers. A co-organizer gets a notice when added.
Reminder
The day before the event you get one reminder if you answered Sure or Maybe, or you organize it. Moving the event to a new date sends a new reminder for the new day. You can switch reminders off in Notification settings.
Event album
When you upload a photo to the gallery, choose the event: its photos are gathered under it and shown as thumbnails in the event's details. Photos limited to close family are not shown to others, and if the event is deleted the photos stay in the gallery.
