Your role as a family creator or admin
What you can do as an admin, what you cannot, and how to confirm you read your role.
If the tree creator made you an admin (or you are the creator), you have tools to manage the family, and a responsibility that goes with them. That is why there is a Your admin role page.
How do I reach it?
- When you are appointed you get a bell notice, an email, and a smart alert with the link.
- The first time you open any admin page (Admin menu, Modules, Activity...) this page shows first. Read it, tick I have read and understood and press I confirm, continue.
- The app keeps working meanwhile: you can browse the family and post photos as usual, but the admin tools wait for your confirmation.
- You can always come back from Admin menu → Your admin role.
What is on it?
What you can do (the tree, invitations, modules, reports), what only the creator can do (appointing admins, the plan and payment), what you cannot do (read private messages or know passwords), and tips for acting carefully. Everything you do is recorded in Family activity.
When the rules of the role change you are asked to read and confirm again.
