Family shares: what they are and the types
Sacrifices, savings circles, Quran readings and charities that family members join, and you organise yourself.
A share is a simple idea: one person organises, relatives pick their parts and make their payments, and the organiser confirms what was received. The types:
- Sacrifice: everyone pays and the organiser buys the animal.
- Savings circle: a circle between family members with regular payments, each member having a turn to collect.
- Quran reading: 30 parts read by the members, with no money.
- Relief: helping people in need.
- Family fund: family projects and emergencies.
- Ongoing charity and orphan sponsorship.
